Community-led eco-home energy advice to put people power at the heart of the net zero transition.
The CommuniPower project provides eco-home energy advice, support, training and employment opportunities to put people power at the heart of the net zero transition.
More than half of the carbon emissions cuts we need to make rely on people and businesses embracing low carbon solutions. CommuniPower can help you and your community to cut carbon in your homes, towns and villages.
Essex: Have your say on your community’s future energy needs.
Fill in this Home Energy Questionnaire so that we can plan for cleaner, cheaper energy in Essex and a chance to win a free home retrofit plan (HERO) worth £350!
The capacity of the electricity network is being expanded rapidly to enable people to have cleaner, cheaper energy.
But some areas need more work than others. Essex County Council and Community Energy South are working together with Buro Happold on a local energy plan to ensure that Essex residents don’t miss out.
We will feed the data into the local energy plan for your community to ensure that every home has the same opportunity to have an electric vehicle, solar panels, home battery storage and an electric heating system if they want it.
Once you’ve filled out the questionnaire, we can be back in touch in the spring to update you on our work and how your voice is shaping energy plans in Essex.
