Climate Literacy Training

The training explores the key topics around climate change and looks at locally based energy solutions. We can also offer exclusive tailored courses for teams in local government and businesses.

This is an energy and community-focused climate and carbon literacy training course accredited by the Carbon Literacy Trust. The course is for community energy groups, local government, businesses and people wanting to know more. It’s designed to inspire and motivate people to take action against our climate crisis and deliver Net Zero goals.

The project has been supported by East Sussex County Council and Ouse Valley Climate Action.

Fully funded places are available for individuals within East Sussex and the Ouse Valley ONLY if you are outside this area, please select our subsidised ticket option.

Businesses or local authority attendees can also book onto this course, however if you wish to book an exclusive course for your organisation, (8+ attendees) please contact jessie.coleman@communityenergysouth.org


The course runs for 8 hours including one hour for you to watch David Attenborough’s ‘Climate Change the Facts’ ahead of the day itself, and a further hour to complete a short evaluation and pledge form afterwards. On completion of this form, It will be sent to the Carbon literacy Trust who will Issue a certificate of Carbon Literacy. Details will be sent to you upon registration.
