The Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum discovered the CES Pathways Programme through attending our Surrey masterclass and invited us to visit the Surrey Muslim Association at the Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking. The group wanted to understand how to approach community energy in the Mosque communities across the whole county.

Imams and Trustees from 6 Mosques received a presentation about community energy options in shared buildings and in homes and they were invited to share their own ideas.  Together we have come up with a plan to assess the energy needs of the mosque and plan for programme of engagement and energy advice in homes.  The CES Pathways programme working with Surrey County Council will help find the resources and share learning in other areas.
