Are you currently involved in delivering energy advice or looking to start a career in helping people to save money and cut carbon emissions in their homes?

Community Energy South is working with communities across the southeast and East Anglia, offering energy and retrofit advice to households and working with community groups to help them set up energy and retrofit advice services. As part of this we are looking to expand our team of energy advisors.

The job will involve coordinating energy events and providing in-person advice sessions. If you are new to energy advice you will start with giving tips on energy efficiency and if you have been working in this field for a while you will be providing advice on home retrofit solutions such as loft insulation and the basics of technologies such as solar PV.

This role is for someone who wants to take practical action on climate change and who enjoys working with people. We provide full training at the level that is suited to you.

The role requires flexible working including some evenings and weekends as well as travel within your region and is offered on a full or part-time basis.
