Time: 10am–4.30pm with a break for lunch

Energy Champions Training Course details
All Energy Champions must attend:
- Module 1: a full day in-person introduction.
- Module 2: an online half-day community engagement training module, practice being an Energy Champion and plan your local approach to deliver energy advice.
- Module 3: an online session to go over policies and procedures to keep yourself and your community safe, covering data protection, safeguarding and lone working.
By completing our training, you will have the knowledge you need to support people with energy advice, how to save money on their energy bills and provide energy saving ideas.
How you can use your skills as an Energy Champion
The Energy Champion role is a flexible role that varies from person to person and place to place; there are many activities that you can be involved with in your community, here are a few examples:
- Establish a trusted local energy advice service and attend local community events.
- Join in with local campaigns to raise awareness about saving energy and renewable energy.
- Organise energy themed information events, workshops and talks.
